Last weekend I went to Bergamo, Italy, which is a city about an hour from Milan. The trip was paid by my work, since it was a social bonding type deal, where we would get to know each other better – I figured, why not tag along (if nothing else I could see some pretty things, and buy some new makeup, since I knew KIKO is from Italy). My wedding day was slowly getting closer, so I did a trial run for my makeup. Both to get some practice with doing false lashes (this was my first time trying them) and to minimize the choices I had to make on the day it self, since I am terribly indecisive. Finally the boxes are all unpacked or taken to the basement! We are as close to being settled in as possible right now. There is a single box left, but it is full of pictures that needs to be hanged on the walls – so we just need to figure out where they should go. Once again we spent Easter in my parents summer house. It’s always nice to go there – lots of fresh air and always a great view. It was a bit chilly this time, but thankfully we had a wood stove in the house to help us keep warm. Moving van with all our stuff April 2nd we finally got to move all our stuff to our new apartment! I’m so happy to be moving, after living in a box-filled apartment for over a week. We had hired a friend of my brother in law, who is a moving man (is that even a term in English?). So the friend had gotten a hold of a big moving van so we, thankfully, only needed 1 trip to move everything….
I’m amazed at how much my hair has grown in a year – and I even had a haircut between this picture and now! My hair apparently grows like crazy 🙂 This is just a soft, neutral look I did last year. I honestly have no memory of what products I used 🙂 Looking at the colours, it could look like one of my Sigma palettes. I really love using warm browns on my eyes – I feel like it…
So it begins! We first bought 30 boxes (of small and medium size) and started packing the apartment. We started with the living room – packing bookcases and dvds etc, and then disassembled the dining table and the couch, to make room on the floor for boxes. My brother and his girlfriend did a performance (glass/vocal music combo) in the town we bought an apartment in as the sound group called “Duo Demona”. So we went there, and my mother, stepfather and my aunt was also there…
Look at this amazing view! I was on a 1 day course on one of my companies offices above a water treatment plant, where you can see to Sweden. The weather was beautiful most of the day, so Sweden was clearly visible on the other side of the sound. This was definitely not a bad way to spend a day 🙂
