This time last year: Wedding makeup trial
My wedding day was slowly getting closer, so I did a trial run for my makeup. Both to get some practice with doing false lashes (this was my first time trying them) and to minimize the choices I had to make on the day it self, since I am terribly indecisive.
I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted, so this test was just to be sure it was do-able for me.
I made a soft, smokey, rose coloured eye look with a shimmery lid, black eyeliner and false corner lashes (which are more comfortable and easier to apply).
The face was a light base, with a little bit of contour and highlighting, and some blush to enhance my face in pictures (which there will be plenty of).
On the lip I chose a berry colour since I feel it looks the best on me. The lip stain I used is very long lasting and fades evenly.
On my wedding day I chose a slightly more nude lip liner, and I used my gel liner to tight line since I had forgotten my Rimmel kohl pencil. Otherwise I stuck pretty much to this look.
