The living room

Around new years eve we had  a viewing of two apartments in the same building. The first one was a 4 room apartment in okay condition. The kitchen was almost 10 years old, but nice enough to be “liveable”. The rest of the apartment was also in “okay” condition.
Then we went on to the next apartment. The instant we walked through the door, we could feel the atmosphere of a much more cosy place. We came through the door and thought “damn, this place feels like home” – and we had basically only seen the hall/doorway.
This apartment was “only” three rooms, but a little bit cheaper than the first one. The kitchen and bathroom was renovated less than a year ago, and it had both a dish washer and a washing machine – bliss!

So after seeing the apartment a second time during January, we ended up buying it! We are totally excited to move to a bigger place (it’s almost 3 times as big as the dorm apartment we live in now).  So on April 1st we will get the keys 🙂 . April 2nd will be our big moving day. A lot of January went by with meetings with two banks to get offers for loans – we ended up changing banks since we got the best offer from them.

We are super happy and excited about the new place, and we can’t wait to get settled in. But now all we have to do is wait, and empty out shit from our apartment since there is no reason to move stuff we don’t need or use. 🙂
